Job Summary
Supporting patient-centered care, the full-time Temporary Contact Center Associate will manage scheduling and registering patients for appointments using the EPIC system, while working remotely and ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and HIPAA regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Handles a high volume of calls for scheduling patient appointments and completing patient registration accurately
- Provides general information about UHealth System services to patients and community health care providers
- Maintains accurate patient demographic and insurance information while adhering to appointment scheduling policies
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
- Knowledge of medical symptoms, signs, and anatomical systems
- Familiarity with insurance referral requirements
- Technical proficiency in using office software and relevant computer applications
