Temporary Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Controller to oversee all accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and oversee the accuracy of financial data and reports
• Develop and manage a high-performing accounting team while supporting various departmental initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 8+ years of accounting experience, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP and experience with international nonprofit accounting
• Strong experience with financial reporting, month-end close processes, and audit support
• Experience with accounting systems and a proactive approach to process improvements
