Temporary Cyber Engineering Associate

Job Summary

Supporting security engineering and operational initiatives, the full-time Temporary Cyber Engineering Senior Associate will implement and enhance security solutions, automate processes, and assist with incident response and vulnerability management in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security tools, integrations, and automation scripts to enhance cyber defense capabilities
• Support vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring activities, including investigation and remediation efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy secure architectures across cloud and on-prem environments

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or related technical roles
• Hands-on experience with scripting/automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and security tools (SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanners)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern infrastructure technologies (e.g., containers, APIs)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
