Temporary Data Privacy Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a temporary Data Privacy Attorney on a remote basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
• Create and maintain privacy compliance documentation to support adherence to privacy laws
• Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations, focusing on GDPR and CCPA, and provide expert advice on privacy-related aspects of sales processes

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in drafting DPAs and privacy compliance documents
• In-depth knowledge of GDPR and CCPA, with experience in additional jurisdictions being advantageous
• Experience in drafting stakeholder-facing materials for privacy compliance
• Familiarity with sales processes and privacy compliance within sales and marketing activities
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification, with a license to practice law in the United States
