Temporary Distributed Organizer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Distributed Organizer to join their organizing team and lead community mobilizations leading up to the 2026 midterm elections.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in volunteer calls and conduct regular 1:1 meetings to build relationships and identify leaders
• Recruit and onboard new leaders while developing their confidence in local organizing
• Support and develop advocacy and electoral mobilizations alongside the Mobilization Director

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of organizing experience or 1-2 full electoral cycles, including managing volunteer teams
• Proven experience in leading effective trainings and organizing meetings
• Demonstrated commitment to racial and social justice with experience working with diverse constituencies
• Experience with distributed organizing or mobilizations at scale
• Familiarity with technology-based organizing tools such as peer-to-peer texting and CRMs
