Temporary Fund Development Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a temporary part-time Fund Development Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and finalize a fund development strategy in collaboration with the Director of Development
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward gift prospects, focusing on gifts of $5,000 and above
• Manage a portfolio of mid-level prospects to secure philanthropic support annually

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Five years of experience in the nonprofit industry, specifically in fund development and communications
• Supervisory experience related to performance management and managing workflows
• Familiarity with fundraising CRMs and AFP Code of Ethics
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive subjects with professionalism
