A company is looking for a Temporary Hospital Billing Follow-Up Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and follow up on outstanding claims with insurance payers
• Correct and resubmit denied claims, ensuring compliance with payer requirements
• Maintain detailed documentation of account actions and communicate with internal departments

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in medical office billing or hospital revenue cycle
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes, and standard billing concepts
• Experience with billing software/EMR systems
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid and Commercial payer plans preferred
