Temporary Instructional Designer

Job Summary

Supporting the design and development of high-quality learning solutions, the Temporary Instructional Designer will work remotely for 6 months to 1 year, collaborating with subject matter experts and business leaders to create engaging training programs that comply with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs analysis and consult with stakeholders to define learning objectives and compliance-driven success metrics
• Design and develop engaging learning assets, including eLearning modules and instructor-led training materials
• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into clear, learner-friendly training content while managing multiple timelines and deliverables

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of corporate instructional design experience, particularly with government contractors or in regulated industries
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and performance-based design
• Proficiency with eLearning and content development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe, Camtasia, Canva)
• Ability to manage multiple projects with firm deadlines and formal approval processes
