Job Summary
To support the design and development of high-quality learning solutions in a regulated environment, the Temporary Instructional Designer will work remotely for 6 months to 1 year, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create engaging training programs that meet compliance and contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct needs analysis and consult with stakeholders to define learning objectives and compliance-driven success metrics
- Design and develop engaging learning assets, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, and job aids
- Translate regulatory and policy requirements into clear, learner-friendly training content while managing multiple timelines and deliverables
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, HR, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of corporate instructional design experience, particularly in government contracting or regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and performance-based design
- Proficiency with eLearning and content development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe, Camtasia)
- Ability to manage multiple projects with firm deadlines and formal approval processes
