Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temp Medical AR Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform charge entries and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable, including resolution of denials
• Generate written appeals to maximize reimbursement on incorrectly denied claims
• Maintain patient confidentiality and respond to inquiries from insurance carriers with high customer service standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced medical billing environment
• Experience in a healthcare setting is required
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 is required; CPC certification preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office
