Temporary Member Advocate

Job Summary

Empathetic and dedicated, the full-time Temporary Member Advocate will provide guidance on health insurance and employer benefits while assisting members with onboarding and care journey issues in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate guidance on health insurance and employer benefits through multiple communication channels
• Assist new customers with onboarding and ensure they understand their health plan options
• Support members in navigating their care journey, including provider searches and claims issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience in social work, patient advocacy, or health coaching preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
• Some knowledge of healthcare and/or insurance benefits preferred
• Experience with modern web applications and remote work
• Values-oriented with a strong desire to improve the healthcare system
