Temporary Patent Assistant

Job Summary

Evaluating inventions and assisting in the patenting process, the part-time Temporary Patent Portfolio Assistant will conduct patent searches, participate in disclosure calls with inventors, and draft provisional patent applications while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patent landscape searches and participate in disclosure calls to identify innovation and patent claim scope
• Draft provisional patent applications and prepare information disclosure statement lists for patent applications
• Collaborate with CoMotion staff to analyze office actions and improve management of intellectual property

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree
• Three years of experience in patent or law-related work, or equivalent education/experience
