Temporary Patient Accounts Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative (Temporary - Part-time).

Key Responsibilities

• Review unpaid invoices in the ETM System and identify potential problem areas
• Contact carriers to inquire about unpaid claims through websites and phone calls
• Report consistent errors affecting claims processing and maintain knowledge of the ETM system

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of medical billing experience preferred, focusing on research and claim denials
• Knowledge of physician billing and healthcare reimbursement, including Medicare and Medicaid
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding
• Computer literacy, preferably in Microsoft Office
