Temporary Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Payroll Accountant to support their payroll accounting function during a critical period.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities, ensuring compliance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting, including payroll operations and general ledger accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline, or similar ERP platforms
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance, including US and Canadian requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; CPA or CPP designation is a plus
• Meticulous about accuracy and ownership of details
