Job Summary
Supporting the payroll functions for a complex veterinary services organization, the full-time Temporary Payroll Specialist will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for over 4,000 employees while collaborating with HR and other teams in a fully-remote role lasting 3 months with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day payroll functions in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and Operations to integrate payroll processes seamlessly
- Resolve complex payroll discrepancies within 48 business hours while staying updated on payroll regulations
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in payroll operations management
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll rules and U.S. payroll tax regulations
- Extensive experience with payroll systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities
