Temporary RCM Collector

Job Summary

To support the Revenue Cycle team, the Temporary RCM Collector will manage accounts receivable, verify insurance eligibility, and ensure timely reimbursement in a flexible, part-time remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collection of payments
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with eligibility system setup
• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Remittance Advices (RAs) for discrepancies and address them promptly

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in medical collections, billing, or revenue cycle management (preferred)
• Familiarity with Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), Remittance Advices (RAs), and insurance verification processes
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations
