Job Summary
Assisting the curator in the Prints and Drawings department, the temporary Research Assistant will engage in cataloguing collections, conducting provenance research, and supporting upcoming exhibitions and teaching needs, with a preference for onsite work in Princeton.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct cataloguing and provenance research for the collections
- Assist in preparing for teaching, including managing a Canvas site and scanning readings
- Support the organization and collation of information for a 2027 exhibition on Inuit printmaking
Required qualifications
- PhD or current graduate student in Art History or a related field
- Proficiency in a relevant European language or Inuktitut
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of prints and drawings (preferred)
- Experience with TMS and Canvas (preferred)
