Temporary Research Scientist
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated Temporary Research Scientist for a part-time role focused on data analytics, scientific writing, and translational sleep research, where the candidate will lead statistical analyses, contribute to manuscript preparation, and assist with grant-related materials while working both remotely and onsite as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support statistical analyses using large clinical and epidemiologic datasets
- Contribute to manuscript preparation, scientific writing, and publication development
- Assist with preparation of abstracts, conference presentations, and grant-related materials
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
- Strong technical background
- PhD in public health, nursing, neuroscience, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated first-author publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Experience with statistical programming and data analysis
