Temporary Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Senior Payroll Specialist to manage multi-state payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate, prepare, and complete multi-state payroll using Workday
• Lead the payroll team to ensure timely completion of payroll tasks and maintain payroll records
• Research and resolve payroll tax notices and coordinate daily payroll activities in the absence of the Director

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• At least four years of experience preparing payrolls in a multi-state environment for 5,000 or more employees
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred
• Experience with ADP Smart Compliance and Workday
• Working knowledge of payroll processing principles and labor law regulations preferred
