Job Summary

A company is looking for a temporary Senior Producer who will work remotely to produce local newscasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce local newscasts for various stations across media markets
• Collaborate with local station news leadership to select timely and relevant content
• Showcase content on digital platforms while exercising news judgment and creativity

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline preferred or equivalent experience
• Generally 6+ years of experience as a television news producer preferred
• Experience with editing software in a newsroom environment
• Strong understanding of journalistic ethics and libel laws
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and styles of producing news
