Temporary Tax Data Specialist

Job Summary

To support the development of tax products, the part-time Temporary Tax Data Specialist will maintain Canopy's Tax Resolution and Tax Organizer products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate content and a seamless user experience while working remotely from Utah.

Key responsibilities

• Track and document changes to tax forms and official guidance
• Prioritize, research, and respond to customer-reported bugs and feedback
• Improve and maintain tax products to reflect accurate and compliant content

Required qualifications

• Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, tax, legal, history, languages, or philosophy
• Proficient with Adobe Acrobat for preparing and editing PDF forms
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel logic
• Strong reading comprehension skills for reviewing government forms and instructions
• Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
