Temporary Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Tax Director, Direct Tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision processes, including preparation and review of tax footnotes
• Manage deferred taxes and ensure SOX-compliant internal controls over tax reporting
• Identify and implement strategic tax planning opportunities to reduce the global effective tax rate

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's in Tax or JD/LLM preferred
• CPA preferred
• 10+ years of experience in U.S. federal, state, and international income tax
• Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and U.S. international tax provisions
• Experience with ERP systems and tax compliance tools
