Temporary Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Overhead Transmission Design team, the part-time Temporary Transmission Line Engineer will lead project execution layouts, manage engineering teams, and coordinate with clients while working remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project execution layout and manage engineers, drafters, and designers on engineering projects
• Create and maintain project schedules and budgets while conducting regular project meetings
• Support resource forecasting and participate in new hire screening and review processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering with prior civil design experience
• Engineer in Training Certification
• Extensive knowledge in PLS-CADD and experience in the design of overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines
• Experience managing projects and leading multi-disciplined teams
