Job Summary
To support the Overhead Transmission Design team, the part-time Temporary Transmission Line Engineer will lead project execution layouts, manage engineering teams, and coordinate with clients while working remotely or in a hybrid arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead project execution layout and manage engineers, drafters, and designers on engineering projects
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets while conducting regular project meetings
- Support resource forecasting and participate in new hire screening and review processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering with prior civil design experience
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Extensive knowledge in PLS-CADD and experience in the design of overhead High Voltage and Extra High Voltage transmission lines
- Experience managing projects and leading multi-disciplined teams
