A company is looking for a Certified Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management by ensuring accurate coding of charges
• Review and abstract patient medical records to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedure codes
• Provide education to providers regarding audit results while maintaining professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in the Middle TN, Columbia, or Knoxville area
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in professional coding
• CPC or CCS-P certification required
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
