Job Summary
A company is looking for an Eligibility Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and insurance representatives via telephone
- Ensure accurate documentation and updates on the status of Insurance Eligibility for all patients
- Participate in the orientation and education of other employees regarding the Eligibility department
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in health care billing and/or authorization practices
- General knowledge of home care operations and third-party reimbursement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
