Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant for a 3+ month contract position in Brentwood, TN.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare standard and specialized journal entries and financial reports in accordance with GAAP
• Compile and analyze financial information to document business transactions and prepare entries into accounts
• Establish and maintain accounting control procedures and respond to inquiries regarding financial reports

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of general accounting experience
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office is preferred
• Deadline driven
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred, but a suitable combination of education and experience will be considered
• Interest in obtaining Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
