Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant in Memphis, TN.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, record, and reconcile daily cash receipts and ensure accuracy of accounting records
• Assist with billing, investigate payment issues, and create financial reports
• Update client information and cash receipt data while supporting month-end procedures

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of relevant experience
• Preferred experience with accounting software such as JD Edwards (JDE)
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting processes and systems
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Intermediate math skills for calculating figures such as percentages and discounts
