Tennessee Licensed Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and manage the general ledger.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly accounting close process and oversee the general ledger
• Provide strategic financial guidance and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Hire, train, and develop accounting staff while promoting a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or equivalent; Master's Degree preferred
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with prior management experience preferred
• Experience with accounting general ledger ERP software; Financial Force experience preferred
• Certified Public Accountant designation preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
