Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare practice, the full-time salaried Tennessee Licensed Actuarial Manager will contribute to complex financial analyses and projects related to employer health and group benefit programs while collaborating with client teams and vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Provide financial analyses and deliverables for multiple employer client teams across a region
- Direct benefit plan analysis, design, and funding strategies while ensuring technical accuracy on client projects
- Deliver accurate claim reporting and financial modeling to support client decision-making
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in professional services, preferably in benefit consulting or health underwriting/actuarial roles
- Knowledge of health and welfare products and services
- Intermediate/advanced understanding of underwriting and funding concepts
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
- Progress towards health actuarial designation or CEBS designation is preferred
