Job Summary
Seeking a Tennessee Licensed Associate Legal Counsel in Real Estate and Project Development, the position offers a full-time opportunity in Nashville, TN, with potential remote work considered, focusing on managing site control transactions, supporting project finance, and advising on land use permitting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage the negotiation and administration of purchase options, easement agreements, and related closing transactions
- Draft, negotiate, and administer key real estate agreements and title deliverables for project financing transactions
- Advise and support external affairs and project development teams on local land use permitting and zoning ordinance strategies
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited US law school with active bar admission in good standing
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a real estate attorney at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
- Substantial experience with real estate purchase and sale transactions, title and survey review
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently with strong attention to detail
- Experience in renewable energy is preferred but not required
