Job Summary

Supervising the Authorization Specialists, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Authorization Supervisor will coordinate departmental operations, ensure compliance with insurer guidelines for medical services, and provide guidance to enhance staff efficiency and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervises daily operations and processes of the pre-certification department, providing direction and support to staff
• Monitors and oversees the quantity of diagnostic and surgical procedures to ensure efficient precertification
• Develops and implements training processes to maintain and improve staff competence throughout their employment

Required qualifications

• Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• 5-7 years of experience in Authorization or Denials Management
• 5-7 years of clinical nursing experience
• 5-7 years of precertification experience
• Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee certification
