Job Summary

To support a growing claims team, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Bodily Injury Specialist will conduct investigations, evaluate claims, and negotiate settlements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct investigations to analyze coverage, determine liability, and assess damages
  • Complete Bodily Injury Evaluation forms and recommend claim dispositions exceeding individual settlement authority
  • Evaluate claims for potential fraud and collaborate with the Special Investigations Unit as necessary
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required; a 2-year degree or higher in a related field is preferred
  • At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience preferred
  • Must hold or be able to secure and maintain adjuster license(s) within 60 days of employment
  • Knowledge of applicable insurance statutes, regulations, and case law
