Job Summary
Providing individualized, strengths-based, non-clinical case management, the full-time Temporary Care Coordinator will assess student needs, develop care plans, and coordinate access to campus and community resources while working onsite in Knoxville, TN with potential for one remote workday per week after the initial 90-120 days.
Key responsibilities
- Meet with students to assess their needs and collaboratively develop care plans
- Coordinate connections to campus and community resources, facilitating access to treatment and crisis intervention
- Serve as a liaison with campus partners and contribute to departmental outreach and evaluation efforts
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, college student personnel, human services, or a related field
- Relevant experience in case management services and/or behavioral health crisis response
- Demonstrated awareness of cultural competence and ability to express compassionate care
- Knowledge of privacy and ethical guidelines related to mental health systems and practices
- Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information effectively
