Job Summary
Responsible for conducting investigations and analyzing liability and damages, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Casualty Specialist will evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate records while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and conducts investigations to assess coverage, liability, and damages
- Evaluates claims for potential fraud and coordinates with the Special Investigations Unit as needed
- Maintains accurate records and communicates file status to internal and external customers
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency required; a 2-year degree in a related field is preferred
- At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
- Minimum of 2 years of previous auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience preferred
- Must hold or be able to secure an adjuster license within 60 days of employment
- Knowledge of applicable insurance statutes, regulations, and case law is essential
