Job Summary
To enhance revenue cycle operations, the full-time remote Tennessee Licensed Chargemaster Director will manage the charge description master, supervise staff in data analysis and audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises staff to implement changes in the charge description master (CDM) and conducts billing audits
- Collaborates with various departments to research and implement charge code improvements and resolve revenue issues
- Maintains the EPIC EAP HB file and PB chargemaster, ensuring timely updates and compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in revenue cycle management
- Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare billing
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor staff in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of charge capture applications and data analysis
