Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Clinical Documentation Specialist, PRN.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient records for accuracy, legibility, and completeness, ensuring proper documentation of discharge diagnoses and procedures
- Communicate with providers regarding any missing or unclear clinical documentation and collaborate with staff to resolve issues
- Monitor provider documentation queries for timely responses and escalate issues as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Intermediate knowledge in medical coding
- Ability to perform critical thinking and problem-solving tasks
