Job Summary
Seeking a Tennessee Licensed Clinical Technologist, the full-time Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist will perform routine and complex technical procedures, monitor instrumentation, and ensure quality patient care in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Determine specimen acceptability and perform technical procedures according to established standards
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, ensuring proper functionality
- Report accurate test results and maintain quality control procedures while assisting with specimen processing as needed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- At least 4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred
- Understanding of laboratory operations, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with proficiency in laboratory information systems
