Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coding Specialist, PRN (Multi-Specialty Coder) - REMOTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes complex coding work to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assigns appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes to reflect resource utilization during patient encounters
• Serves as a clinical coding subject matter expert and initiates coding queries or tasks

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Licensure in a discipline specific to medical coding
• Advanced knowledge of medical coding, terminology, and compliance
• Experience in critical thinking and problem-solving within a healthcare context
