Job Summary
Tennessee Licensed Consultative Pharmacist, responsible for providing clinical review and consultation on medication requests and collaborating with providers, working full-time in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical review and consultation on medication requests, prior authorizations, and benefit determinations
- Evaluate therapy appropriateness, dosing, and safety based on evidence-based guidelines
- Support complex case reviews and appeals with accurate clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing (PharmD or BS Pharmacy)
- 3-5 years of clinical or managed care pharmacy experience
- Strong understanding of formulary management and clinical guidelines
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
- Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment and work independently
