Job Summary

Consulting with partner teams throughout Tennessee, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Content Specialist will ensure content developed for the Tennessee Technical Assistance Network aligns with TDOE expectations, while providing guidance on accessibility guidelines and special education standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide consultation and feedback to partner teams on content development according to TDOE Style Guide and accessibility guidelines
  • Communicate daily with the CLEE Associate Director, Project Manager, and partners to ensure alignment and quality of resources
  • Deliver training sessions on best practices related to APA style, TDOE style, and Title II ADA guidelines
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in content management or services for students with disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of APA and TDOE style guidelines, as well as Section 508 and Title II ADA accessibility guidelines
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver training and foster collaboration among education professionals
