Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel (Employment & Litigation).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide employment legal advice to the People team and manage potential claims related to employment-law issues
• Offer legal guidance on potential or threatened claims and civil actions involving the company
• Administer and improve standard contracts while supporting the Sales teams with contract-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited institution and admitted to state bar in good standing
• Minimum of 4 years of experience at a major law firm or corporate legal department
• Experience with human resources and employment-law matters under federal and state laws
• Experience in commercial civil litigation or employment-law litigation
• Experience reviewing and revising contracts, apart from employment-law matters
