Job Summary
Providing legal guidance and support, the full-time salaried Tennessee Licensed Corporate Counsel will focus on regulatory compliance, contract law, and corporate governance while collaborating with internal stakeholders and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and company policies, with a preference for local candidates but open to remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Provides legal advice on healthcare law, regulatory compliance, contracts, and corporate policy to company leadership and business units
- Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a variety of contracts, including provider employment agreements and vendor arrangements
- Analyzes federal and state laws related to fraud and abuse, incorporating compliance safeguards into contract terms and business practices
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree from an accredited law school
- 4-6 years of experience practicing law, including contract law and healthcare law
- Experience in a healthcare organization or advising healthcare providers preferred
- Active and unencumbered Bar Admission in at least one U.S. state
