Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Staff Services Credentialing Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and membership organizations
- Process application packages for provider onboarding and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Monitor and update medical licenses and malpractice insurances for providers
Required Qualifications and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience
- General understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA)
- Skilled in the application of policies and procedures
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and perform data entry tasks
