Job Summary
To support timely provider onboarding and compliance, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Credentialing Specialist will manage application processing, maintain regulatory cooperation, and ensure healthcare professionals meet established standards while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process initial and re-appointment application packages for providers to verify accuracy and compliance
- Maintain cooperation with regulatory and accrediting organizations while monitoring provider licenses and malpractice insurances
- Collaborate with medical staff offices to ensure timely updates and completion of provider files
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging experience preferred
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA
- Proficiency in data entry and use of electronic communication and spreadsheets
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
