Job Summary

To support timely provider onboarding and patient care coverage, the full-time Tennessee Licensed Credentialing Specialist will process applications, perform primary source verifications, and maintain compliance records in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Process initial appointments, reappointments, and privileging applications for healthcare providers in accordance with relevant standards and policies
  • Perform comprehensive primary source verification of credentials, including licensure, education, and work history
  • Maintain accurate provider credentialing records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of provider credentialing experience, with hospital Medical Staff credentialing preferred
  • Experience in primary source verification and credentialing compliance activities
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission, CMS, NCQA standards, and credentialing systems such as MD-Staff
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a remote setting
