Job Summary
To support an urgent care/primary care setting, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Credentialing Specialist will manage provider credentialing processes, including obtaining and verifying credentials, ensuring compliance with billing requirements, and maintaining relationships with payors, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Enroll providers with necessary payors and manage contracting and revalidation processes
- Collect and confirm provider information for reports to accrediting and licensing agencies
- Coordinate with billing to address credentialing issues and maintain updated provider profiles
Required qualifications:
- Associate Degree preferred
- 2+ years of credentialing experience required
- Experience in a medical office with claims, billing, and insurance is an asset
- Certified Professional Biller or Certified Professional Coder preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance rules and RHC credentialing guidelines
