Tennessee Licensed DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a major public-sector technology modernization initiative, the contract-based Tennessee Licensed DevSecOps Engineer will introduce, configure, and administer software delivery platforms while ensuring compliance and integrating automated security scanning within delivery pipelines in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce and manage software delivery and collaboration tools to support reliable software planning and deployment
• Define and implement governance standards and processes for compliant software delivery workflows
• Integrate automated code security scanning tools and assist teams in remediating vulnerabilities prior to release

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with container platforms (OpenShift or Kubernetes) or CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Working knowledge of secure software delivery practices and integration of security into development pipelines
• Experience with code scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, Snyk) and familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA approaches
• Prior public-sector or state government experience, including familiarity with NIST or similar frameworks
• Eligibility to pass a public-sector background check
