Job Summary
To support a major public-sector technology modernization initiative, the contract-based Tennessee Licensed DevSecOps Engineer will introduce, configure, and administer software delivery platforms while ensuring compliance with public-sector requirements in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Introduce and manage software delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and OpenShift
- Define and implement governance standards and repeatable processes for software delivery across multiple departments
- Integrate automated code security scanning tools into delivery pipelines and assist teams in addressing vulnerabilities
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with container platforms (OpenShift or Kubernetes) or CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Working knowledge of secure software delivery practices and integration of security into development pipelines
- Experience with code scanning tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, or Veracode
- Prior public-sector or state government experience, with familiarity in NIST or similar frameworks
- Eligibility to pass a public-sector background check
