Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of various indirect tax returns in compliance with regulations
• Monitor and research changes in tax laws, analyzing their impact and developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Manage indirect tax audits and inquiries, and oversee the acquisition and validation of tax exemption certificates

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
• At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles related to financial reporting and internal controls
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
