Job Summary
To support the Graduate Nursing Team, the fully remote Tennessee Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner Coordinator will oversee specialty course content, participate in curriculum quality reviews, and collaborate with faculty and administration to enhance student outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee content in specialty classes and participate in curriculum updates in alignment with accreditation standards
- Collaborate with the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator on student preparation for practicum and address challenges related to preceptors
- Review preceptor assignments and conduct virtual site reviews for clinical partners where students are placed
Required qualifications
- Doctorate or terminal degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 3 years direct supervisory experience in an academic institution, preferably with multi-campus leadership
- Current, unencumbered RN license and national certification in the specialty area aligned with the program
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification is required for the FNP program
- Documentation of all applicable licenses and certifications must be maintained and current
